bySynology,freightpre-paid,inpackagingsufcient
toprotect the contents thereofand with theRMA
numberprominentlydisplayedontheoutsideofthe
box.Customerisresponsibleforinsuranceandrisk
oflosswithrespecttoreturneditemsuntiltheyare
properlyreceived by Synology. AProduct issued
aRMAnumbermustbereturnedwithinfteen(15)
daysafterissuanceoftheapplicableRMAnumber.
2.5 Replacement by Synology.
If Synology
elects toreplaceany Product under thisWarranty
setforthin Section 2.1, then Synology will ship a
replacement Product at Synology's expense via
the shippingmethod selected by Synology after
receipt of the nonconforming Product returned
inaccordance withSection 2.4 and validationby
Synology that the Product does not conform to
the warranty. Replacement Productwill be new
or serviceably used, comparable in function and
performancetotheoriginalProductand warranted
for the remainderof theoriginal Warranty Period
or thirty (30) daysafter itis shippedto Customer,
whichever period is longer Any Product found by
Synology to be non-defective will be returned to
Customer.
2.6 Support.
During the Warranty Period,
Synology will make available to Customer the
support services.Following the expiration of the
applicable Warranty Period, support for Products
may be available from Synology upon written
request.
2.7 Exclusions.
Theforegoing warranties and
warranty obligationsdo not apply to any Product
that(a)hasbeeninstalledorusedinamannernot
speciedordescribedintheProductspecications;
(b)hasbeenrepaired,modiedoralteredbyanyone
other than Synology or itsagent or designee; (c)
hasbeeninanywaymisused,abused,ordamaged;
(d) has been used with items not provided by
Synology other than the hardware or softwarefor
which the Product is designed; or (e) otherwise
failstoconform to the Product specifications and
such failure is attributable to causes not withinor
under Synology's control. Further, the foregoing
warrantieswillbevoidif(1)Customerdisassembles
the Product except as authorized by Synology;
(2) Customer fails to implement any correction,
modification,enhancement, improvementorother
updatemade availabletoCustomerby Synology;
or(3) Customer implements, installs orusesany
correction,modication,enhancement,improvement
orotherupdatemade availableby anythirdparty.
Thewarrantysetforth in Section 2.1willterminate
uponCustomer'ssaleortransferoftheProducttoa
thirdparty.
